Postcards from Domburg

Domburg Netherlands

Jorge and I took an opportunity to spend a sunny autumn day in Domburg, an old seaside resort in Zeeland.

Domburg is a tiny village that stood still in time. Streets are small, houses have big gardens well taken care of, villagers know each other and are friendly to strange faces.

What we experienced going through the little village is hard to describe. It is a bend of three different worlds. From one side is plain green, from crops to Golf courts. At the middle the precious little village and splitting it from the beach a small hill. All of this in less than a 10min walk is humbling to say the least. Such beauty contained in Domburg.

We took a long walk alongside the beach that is full of rows of wooden piles and seagulls and watched the little waves of the North Sea crash in an infinite line of shells that lay down in the shore.
