The Laine issue 4 is just wonderful! It’s the kind of magazine where you just wish to have time to do all the designs. They are timeless, simple and exquisite, the kind of garments that we can wear for so many years, and this is what I love most.

After some indecision I opted to start with Magnolia, a seamless top-down sweater with a gorgeous lace reminiscent of flowers. It’s a well written design by Camilla Vad and one of those projects that in a week or two can be done. For me it took more time than I was expecting due my eye problem… anyhow it’s ready and now waiting for the colder days.

I used the combination of Silk Mohair from Isager & the Eco line Alpaca 2 (a yarn blended with 50% Alpaca and 50% Wool) totally undyed also from Isager. It was the first time that I knit with this Danish brand and I am happy, it’s a very good yarn. The result was a marvelous light & soft sweater and very warm too.

I’m so thrilled with it! ❤
